• From the biography
Born in Vladimir in 1956.
Karelin works in his personal technique of montage with elements of dices and filigree.
In 1990 he was awarded the title of Master of highest qualification end the right for a personal stamp.
Since 1990 many of his works have been purchased for German and American collection. Some of his works have found their homes in England, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, as well as in the collection of Vladimir-Suzdal Museum and Vladimir Culture Fund.
In 1993-1994 under the supervision of All-Russia Art Fund there were two exhibitions of his works in Moscow and Vladimir.
His personal exhibition took place in August 1994 in his native town under the supervision of Vladimir-Suzdal Museum.
In 1994 he became a member of International Federation of Artists UNESCO.
In 1996 he was elected Correspondent Member of that Academy.
In 1998 Sergei Karelin was elected Akademician of Petrovskaya Academy of Sience and Art.
